Refractory Training Course 2022
From 11 till 13 October 2022, it was all about the Refractory Training Course at Gouda Refractories. The course is organized annually to give customers, partners, and other interested parties the opportunity to learn more about refractory.
We are proud to say that it was again a great success with participants from all over the world and from different types of industries.
The course leader was our Technical Manager, Marcel Franken. Mr. Franken has more than 35 years of experience in refractory materials and is known in the market for his expertise.
In addition, presentations were given by Gouda Refractories’ experts:
Edwin Aalbers, Product Manager Aluminium and Steel,
Johannes Boersma, Innovation & Technology Manager,
Peter Plaizier, Product Manager Biomass, Energy & Chemicals,
Stef Breedveld, Product Manager Refining,
Annelies Niewijk, Researcher.
Many topics were covered, from raw materials and product types to the production and installation of refractory materials. Also, a field trip to Gouda Refractories’ production facilities was part of the course.
The course was concluded with the certificate of participation award ceremony.
The next training course will be organized on Tuesday June 6th - Thursday June 8th, 2023.
