This impressive inventory comprises over 400 monolithic grades, encompassing insulating monolithics, dense monolithics, low cement monolithics, self-flowing monolithics, and more.
Monolithics comprise the full range of unshaped refractory products, including castables, gunning compositions, plastics, ramming mixes, and others. These formulations vary from simple to intricate, tailored to meet the specific requirements of the application.
Typically, monolithics consist of top-tier grains, binding agents, and additives. Gouda Refractories specializes in the alumino-silicate sector, utilizing high-quality grains such as White Fused Alumina, Tabular Alumina, Bauxite, Andalusite, and Chamotte.
While calcium aluminate cement remains the most commonly used binding agent, we also offer phosphate bonded and colloidal silica bonded monolithics, providing versatile solutions to suit a variety of needs.
Gouda Refractories provides a diverse range of specialized cement castables designed to meet various industry needs. Within our CURON range, we offer regular cement castables with a calcium oxide content of 2.5% or higher.
For applications requiring low cement castables with a lower calcium oxide content (CaO < 2.5%), which incorporate ultrafine particles, we offer the VIBRON range and the ALU-CAST range, specifically tailored for the aluminium industry. These castables require deflocculating agents in their formulation and benefit from vibration during installation.
Our product lineup also includes self-flowing castables, found in the FLUCON range, and castables engineered for rapid heating, featured in the VELOX range. In addition to these hot-face castables, the GOLITE range serves as an excellent choice for insulation purposes. For applications requiring moldable materials, we offer the CURAS range.
